I'm not really intelligent when it comes to water and all that crap but isn't city water treated with all sorts of chemicals and stuff like that that's supposed to not be good for your body? Well then how come my face (acne) clears up perfectly when I'm showering and shaving in it?
My place has well water however. The second I come back to using it, my face blows up and transforms back into its pepperoni pizza form it's been since I was like 13 years old.
My parents have well water. I don't like it. My skin isn't very happy.
In my region, when I lived in a neighboring city, my skin and hair were so dry. Living in my current city is much better, and I haven't made changes to the products, so every city can be different.
We used to have a well...loved that the water was always cold and tasted great! Now, we're on city water....never runs cold except for the dead of winter.
Well water has minerals and impurities in it. Try a water filter, if you will be using well water frequently. And, if you're in the country, there could be other allergens that affect your skin. A doctor is who you should see! They can determine just what is causing your breakouts...and treat you accordingly!
ja1 u should get a PH level tester and see if there is a big difference between the well and city water, the testers are cheap. The well water could very very hard water and minerals may be clogging your pores from it. U may need to get a water softener.

I think I have a softener...maybe it's not working correctly?
Well water is often 'hard' water that has a lot of minerals.
City water is filtered and treated for bacteria. Is this done to well water? Is it supposed to be inspected?
I suppose wells vary, one to the other. You might be sensitive to something in your well.
