But Lavender, there is nothing dirty about clean pubic hair!!! Whenever middle-aged men say they want no pubic hair on GROWN WOMEN it makes me think THEY want a child (and yes, that's revolting). I think that's what the other poster was referring to.
In some of my classes we do a section on pornography (with very academic articles like all other readings in the class) ... we look at Playboys from 20-30 years ago versus today. In the old ones, women have pubic hair (neat and clean but definitely THERE). In the new ones, virtually no women do. I guess it's just a style, but the cynical academic side of me says there's more to it than that, and it's disturbing.

Yep, the trend really only picked up in the late 90s, actually. If you clean regularly it shouldn't be a problem. I don't think preferring no hair means you're a pedophile, the trend in general is just less hair. But like underarm hair, then leg hair, then the bikini line, campaigns to get women to remove body hair by suggesting it is unsightly generally succeed. Soon the only hair a woman can have will be on her head...

I don't care much what other people do, its the notion that you HAVE to do it that bothers me.
I'm not sure what other cultures do/what they did back then, I'm just saying in most of the little adult films/pictures dating from the 70s to the early 90s many women sported full bushes.
Theres a nude pic of demi moore online. Just one word.....bush city.
And...not one straight man on the planet thought she was gross back then, either, most thought it was a sexy picture!
