I tan only with pain. I guess ideally I'd say type 2 or type 3 skin looks most attractive, but I'd take a naturally pale woman over those Jersey Shore oompa-loompas.

Yes Pale is very unattractive. From what I have seen, pale normally equates to a teenager build(stick figure). If a women was build and curvy, i am sure that i could overcome the pale skin, I like a women not a girl.

I'm naturally very, very fair skinned. I burn so easily that I'm paranoid of skin damage so if I'm outside I lather up in the highest UV possible.

I couldn't be bothered attempting to 'tan' either in tanning beds or with fake stuff.

I rock the fair skin look with my 1950s-wannabe style

P.S. In response to jbub22- I'm definitely not a teenager/stick build.

I had a bout with skin cancer right on the end of my nose and gotta tell you, nothing has EVER hurt as badly as getting a needle biopsy on the end of my nose..UNREAL. Do I lay in the sun any longer NOOO, absolutely NOT. Nothing is worth that needle biopsy on the end of the nose. I'll stay pale and wrinkle-less as I grow old!

If accented with the right makeup/colors, pale can be stunning.

I think a lot of it depends on your skin tone when you're pale. My skin is transparent when it's pale, you can see all my veins and pores and it just ends up looking sickly and blotchy. However, a woman like Sabina Kelley has absolutely stunning clear very pale skin. I could never have skin like hers, no matter how hard I tried

I am rather pale and I am fine with it. On the undersides of my arms, you can see a little bit of vein, but it is no big deal to me.

Thats what counts right? How I feel about myself, not how others feel about me....

Not in my experience.

I think because black people were raped, kidnapped, tortured, and enslaved for being too dark. The same cannot be said about pale skin.

With that being said, I don't think pale skin is unnattractive and no one should be put down for their skin tone.
