I have a collegiate sweatershirt that's made by Russell Athletic and it's the warmest, coziest sweater ever. I think it was around $40 when I bought it almost 10 years ago, and it's still going strong...the letters have barely even faded.

In your experience, who makes the most comfortable, high quality, sweatshirts and hoodies? I moved to a colder climate and need to update my wardrobe. I'd like to get a few in solid colors, and maybe a few collegiate or sports teams ones....

I have a Starter hooded sweatshirt I got in tenth grade and I am nearly forty now. Looks brand new, feels sooo good!

My bf gave me a hoodie earlier this year too that is soo comfy, I can't remember who made it...

Sahalie.com makes great everything casual. I have both a hoodie and a sweat shirt from them.

I don't know the "brands" but I've bought long sleeve hoodie type shirts and clothing in stores that carry clothing designed for use in yoga.

For years, the softest sweatpants/shirt I had was the set I was issued at USMC bootcamp , Russell brand I think - although some of the softness was "wear and tear".

I've got a few H&M zip hoodies - the ones with the white zipper and hood pulls - that have held up well for two years. I wear them when I'm cycling at night or during the fall/winter, so they've seen TONS of use and many, many washes; they're all holding up well. Except for the grey one from the L.O.G.G. line - that one has faded quite noticeably from the sun.

I have a Champion sweater with some band and political patches that I got about 12 years ago - it's faded a little, but is holding up 100% and still looks great. I've actually gotten some compliments on it from high school-aged rocker kids... go figure

Also have two hoodies by a brand called Kenpo, I got them at Tilly's when I was dating a girl who was 20 who wanted to give me a "makeover" which meant going to surfer/skater shops and buying clothes for a 20-year old dude. One is black with a red inside, and the other is blue with a grey inside. SUPER comfy, and amazingly soft... love them, no fading or anything.
