Athleta if you are a little more crunchy.

I would describe both as expensive if you consider that they are after all just work out clothes.

I still indulge or "invest" as some would rationalize this habit.

They do make knock-offs of the most basic luluemon colors/sets at C9 by Target/Champion I have noticed. I bought a carolina blue and charcoal tank/shorts set and a couple months later I found the perfect matching pants for the top a Luluemon that were also charcoal and carolina blue.

Chances are the lulus are far superior in quality but you can still find good stuff at Target if on a budget. I have had C9 yoga capris for maybe 3 or 4 years and they still have just barely faded.

Also what I noticed with Lulu is it's nothing "new" or "original". They are simply making more vanilla/Americanized knock-offs or Brazilian workout fashions. Just look at the patterns and colors that they add in the details.

Are they really worth the money? I don't know yet....I have only had my 2 yoga pants and one running crop for a month.

Meh to Lululemon, but I know runners who swear by the quality and how it makes their butt look. Personally, I have been able to get good quality brand name running clothes from TJMaxx and Marshall's as well as the outlet stores for brands (Nike, UA).

Running skirts and arm sleeves are definitely fashionable right now. You can get running skirts pretty much anywhere other running apparel is sold. Runningwarehouse.com has a good selection at good prices. Runningskirts.com runs sales from time to time as well. I wear capris mostly since I can find them a lot easier, but I picked up a couple of skirts on clearance at sporting goods stores for under $30 and $20.

If you google around a bit, you can find fun colorful stuff from different vendors, but they may cost as well.

Lululemon is the current "it" brand but their quality sucks. It used to be top notch when they manufactured in Canada but now they manufacture in many other countries (including, or course, China) and the quality has gone downhill while the prices remain sky high.

Basically, you will pay $99 for a pair of yoga pants that match the quality of any $25 yoga pants.

I have read that as well on their reviews page. They at least fit better than any pair of $25 pants I have tried on. I hope mine last
