Hooters has been sued several times for 'discriminating' against men; usually the cases are settled out of court.

Quote:
In a settlement reached last month, the Hooters restaurant chain agreed to open three gender-neutral positions in its outlets and to pay $3.75 million to settle a class-action sex-discrimination lawsuit, attorneys on both sides of the suit said Tuesday.
..."In the settlement, Hooters agreed to open three gender-neutral positions," Saltzman said. "One is a staff position on the floor, where a male would perform some of the same duties as women. Also, the host position, where a female greeted and seated the people, and a bar-support position for a male that will assist the female bartender."
...The three Chicago-area men who sued after being turned down for employment at the Orland Park restaurant will each receive $19,100 in the settlement.

The settlement here was ridiculous: the plaintiffs get $20,000 each and the lawyers get millions. It almost seems like a shakedown.

But in all honesty, I've seen men in shorts that short before and it's not always pretty. So maybe Hooters is doing us a favor...

Not really. I'm a woman and don't want to see women in shorts.
I want to see men, though I do understand men in shorts might attract mostly gay men.
That would be a smart business move on their part.
Chick fil A's loss,Hooter's gain.

On the other hand, they discriminate against obese women too. And old women.

Never been to Hooters though. Not my thang.

HOOTTER'S means women's breasts. It is a franchise dedicated to the exploitation of woman, and anyone that thinks otherwise is blind to their brainwashing. Hooter's main input is to bring men, and men with their families into their franchises, to drink, eat and sell visual sex. If I am not mistaken, they sell liquor and that equates=PROFITS.

Yes, female students can get through college because they get excellent tips, the more they bend while trying to help customers with their food, the larger the tip.

And the next franchise following on its steps, is Applebee's. I recently travelled to Port Wentworth, Georgia, and went to the local Applebee's, and saw the similarity between A and H. The waitresses on duty that evening, had their sweaters or tees way too low, exposing their breasts, on purpose, and bending over the men's plate more than was necessary. SEX SELLS make no mistake about it.....

I been a couple of times with male buddies, I find nothing interesting about the place. I'm just not into soft-porn, or strip clubs for that matter. Even when I was single I just wasn't into voyeurism, ogling never was my thing. If I can't at least try to sample the what's on display why bother?
