Some people just want to laud the past by pure virtue of the fact that it's in the past. Most of those women are highly unattractive to me, and just the fact that it's vintage doesn't change that.
I wonder how they curled their hair back then without heat styling tools.
I really love women's (and men's) fashions of the 30s and 40s. It was classy, elegant, and dignified.
Especially compared to women's fashions of today. Today our options are either business attire/business casual, trendy looking work out clothes, or low slung jeans with shirts that aren't made long enough to make up for the low slung jeans.
Women in the 30s and 40s looks so elegant, feminine, and tasteful even in their casual clothes/sports wear.
I'm jealous because if you tried to dress like that now people would think you were a hipster and thats SO not what I'm going for.
she is a beauty but I bet if you put her in a time capsule to times before hair bleach, push-up bras, stilletos, and make-up she would look similar to the '20s pageant girls.
I really don't think those women are ugly. That is what women look like when they don't have hair styling tools, hair dye, or make-up. Its amazing how brainwashed men are by the manufactured hollywood look.
I will admit to highlighting my hair and wearing make up but it's sad that men can't appreciate the women of an era before all of the make-up, hair dye, styling tools, and push-up bras.
It was my opinion based on what you wrote in your post on this page. If you thought was nasty, then so be it. I sent it via rep comment because I do that to everyone, you're not special.....I don't have any problem saying what I said to you in the thread that I said in rep comment or else I wouldn't have signed it in the first place.
LMAO @ trying to insult me about relationship problems. What else is new. Big f'ing deal & this is one example why I'm glad I don't bother with you people
Great - don't bother me anymore!
By the way, I like your CD name - it's cute. Have a good evening.

Right on! And their hair styles were so ornate - and they got to wear the cutest HATS!

Homely is homely. So is yucky teeth not taken care of (back then) and flabby bodies. Most curvy women today are firm. You could bounce a quarter off their buns.
I want Miss Missouri's shape!
Perfect hourglass shape, and it looks so natural.
Yes, Miss Missouri also has a sort of quiet mysterious look going on that I find very attractive. Also, Miss Los Angeles in the photo next to her is gorgeous, IMO. Now I'm going to try to find more pictures...
