Hey, listen: I'm from Brazil right, I know what funk exactly is.
It is the poorest type of 'music' in the world. It's just about sex, prostituition, sex with underage girls (called 'novinhas'), drugs and crime.
It was made in the favelas (slums) in Rio de Janeiro.
Good people hate it. It just shows how rotten our culture can be.
After hearing about baile funk, I expected to like it a whole lot more. But I just didn't connect with it at all. Odd considering I like other Brazilian music, hip hop, reggaeton and house.
Around 4:20 all I heard was a goat for a while but strangely saw no animals.

To those places, yeah, you missed nothing. If you ever come to Brazil, go to the beaches, restaurants (we have the best food you can ever dream with, Sharon Stone is in love with brazilian food), nature in general. But not cities. Cities are ugly, there's many ghettos everywhere.

That's a problem with many countries... too many proles. But even proles can have nice "bumpers." =D

That's all very sad. But why are there ghettos everywhere when Brazil is abundant with natural resources? That is how the US became what it is today. All wealthy countries today started and continue to thrive because of natural resources. Its funny because I hear a lot of my friends say wealthy countries are that way because of the natives intellect or army but all it takes it a brief look at history to change their minds.
My mother's family is from Bolivia and they have similar issues such as vast natural resources yet extreme poverty and limited chances for individuals. I'm very curious about these issues.
