I'm just curious. I was reading a thread where some people said Christina Hendrick's body was shaped womanly or like a normal woman? I always thought womanly figures would be something like my own figure. For 1, Christina Hendricks hips aren't even all that prominent. I thought people like Shakira Alicia Keys Beyonce Jennifer Lopez lady gaga or even Kim Kardashian would be more of an example of what a womanly or curvy figure is. I was always told I had a womanly figure and I'm 116 lbs and 5'0". I sometimes got called chubby because I don't have a body like the above example like I used to in high school. I have lovehandles but my hips are as wide as kim kardashian's (32B-27-39). I don't get is womanly a different term than curvy? Is womanly another way to say chubby? Opinions?

We need to separate curvy from overweight, for Pete's sake

Overweight women, inclusive of unappealingly overweight women, abuse the term extensively.

Curvy = Hourglass shape (wide hips, shoulders, big breasts (C+) and butt)

Not all overweight women are curvy and not all curvy women are overweight.

However, many women are curvy and overweight, because their body type naturally distributes weight, with exception to some belly flab which curvy women do have, but their hourglass shape completely masks it. On the other hand, many women gain weight a little disproportionately that they become a barrel, a trapezium (regular or inverted) and they are NOT curvy at all and they just don't accept it, and they fool men too

Lol I know I don't look anything like that woman.

My waist is only an inch larger than kim kardashian alicia keys and Jlo. IMO they also have lovehandles but its so slight no one notices. They don't have a waistline like Candice swanepoel.

I'm not overweight by any imagination. My bmi is 22.7.

I wasn't just talking about myself anyhow I was talking women in general.

I don't include Christina Hendricks as curvy. I always thought it had to do with being a healthy weight and a good whr.
Oh so pear shaped women wouldn't be curvy. I didn't know it had to do with breasts size as well.

So you wouldn't consider Jlo curvy?

We will never know if those women really have those body shapes between airbrushing, photoshopping and all kinds of plastic surgery junk they stuff into their boobs and butt.

I was speaking of real women from a social walk of life. You can easily tell who is curvy and who isn't.

How can you tell that? Many real women wear push ups... So you don't see the full picture.

Even if one can pad the butt and push bras up, the hips will be a dead giveaway. It's difficult to fake the hourglass figure.

"Curvy" is best exemplified by choice #3.

And if you don't choose option 3, you are obviously a homosexual.

I would tear that up.
