I don't like the idea of a man shaving his legs. Now a hairy back is another thing lol.

Woman who are fixated on smooth shaved male chests suffer from a fetish. I would safely assume that they have objectified the male body - the same way men used to treat woman as a sex object and not a living feeling human being.

Hairy back...? Get out the blow torch and tame that ape...Good Lord..a hairy back ....one that looks like a lint filled black shag carpet. Nothing more savage than woman with a hairy back..

I don't have to even think about this question. My husband's legs are pretty much the only part area that isn't hairy. Major fur is not my thing, but I love him, and accept the whole package, as it were.

Oh...just adding a real life reason why it may be actually needed like the athletes. I had an ex who had to trim his leg hair because in the upper thigh area where pants would rub they would get tangled hair and it would end up irritating the skin. He had to shave it off or it would be tangles and rashes. Eventually ended up buying a body groomer to avoid stubble grow back irritation.

Is this a common issue for guys with bigger thighs? Hair rub? I notice it on guy's calves a lot if they are muscular enough to have the pants they wear rub on the ball of the calf muscle.

All I can think of right now is that childhood rhyme "Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair...." I guess if a guy shaves, he isn't fuzzy, wuz he?

Honestly a bit freaked out, I wouldn't say it would be a deal breaker for me considering i'm married and I don't think I'd divorce him over it. However given that my husband is one of these manly men I'd be a bit freaked out, given that he'd do a 180 on me.

Trimac, you should watch the documentary Mansome. It's not great, but it's directed by the same guy who did Super Size Me. It's about how the definition and the display of masculinity by way of dress and grooming is changing in society.

So for all the women who are posting about men's icky body hair, do you really think this:

Justin Bieber shirtless picture - Pop on the Pop

Looks better and more manly than this:
