Not sure if anyone else has seen this on the teenage girls. . . but this "fashion statement" that I saw yesterday really had me scratching my head.
Teenage girls wearing silk boxer shorts over their jeans. One girl even had a pair of pink silk boxer shorts over her jeans with "HOT" across her behind.
Looks bad, sleazy and ultra tacky.
Maybe this is a new trend starting from the west coast to the east coast - no idea - but has anyone else seen this??? Would any of you allow your daughters to wear it?
Yeah we used to wear gym shorts over sweats sometimes but that was back in the 80's as the previous poster stated. I'm sure it's just a fad that they're going through. At least they're wearing pants and not just the boxers by themselves
I think it is a throw-back to the late 80's. I was in college back then and we wore gym shorts over long pants like sweats or jeans.
I thought it sounded familiar.
I was in my late 20's then and loved observing what the younger girls were wearing.
I'm kinda glad the girls are beginning to leave the 70's alone and are now picking up on the 80's.
The whole bohemian 70's thing was starting to feel like too much deja vu.
Young fashion today is really bad. Not just teenage girls but college age as well. I hate flip flops and Im so annoyed bu these floosies parading throgh the convenience stores in sweats, shorts, and flops. prefer woman to dress like well women! and not slobs. Sweats that have various suggestive marks on the back are a put off as well. I always wonder where their mother is.
it sounds retarded fad or no fad
what next wearing a bra over your t-shirt ?
