Watch out Naomi, Claudia and other supermodels; Plus-sized Brazilian models parade their killer curves on the runway as they showcase fashions for the larger lady at the plus size fall/winter 2013 show Saturday in Sao Paulo.

The collection included evening wear, bridal dresses, swimwear and intimate apparel.
The models appeared at ease as they strutted their stuff and ultimately stripped down to show off some skin.

As someone said, why can't we find a happy medium?
Its one extreme to the next.....

What's wrong with medium sized girls?
But first,we would have to define medium size.

For what's it worth, why are some of them defined as curvy, when I see no curves on some of them?
Just because you are overweight doesn't mean you are curvy. I saw plenty, esp in the last pic, that were not curvy.

I like the gold dress, and the model has a nice shape. That's curvy. Nice waist to hip ratio.

Interesting. A "big model" here wears a size 10 or 12. And at that size most designers dont have samples for them. Samples are made in size 2 or 4.

As much as people may want to ridicule the obese...they do need clothes, and deserve respect and recognition in our society.

Unfortunately it looks like a completely amateur production. The show looks like it was all about focusing on the models rather than the fashions they're displaying.

It's kind of nice to see some bigger ladies prancing about in their bras and panties and not feeling self-conscious about it. Most of these models wear a much bigger size than a size 10 or 12---more like 20+ in US sizing. From what I can see---the size average among these women (except for first pic--she's bigger) is at least a 22 or 24 US. Nonetheless---they look pretty.

Good for them for having the confidence to get on stage and model the new fashion.

I really dont like how the obese/morbidly obese have hijacked the term "voluptuous". Kim Kardashian is voluptuous and curvy. That Mad Men chick is voluptuous and curvy. These chicks are FAT.

Well, they might be naturally curve... but it's pretty hard when you're that fat to be actually curvy as fat tends to accumulate in the mid section rounding out any curves there might have been.

On some people,as an example.
The girl in the gold dress. No fat on her waist.

That Mad Men chick is fat.
She just wears corsets to hide it.
