I've been missing some of my old pairs of jeans lately (because apparently I have that kind of time) and had some questions come to mind I thought I would throw out to anyone with some time to kill.
Obviously our tastes and preferences in fashion can change over time. When it comes to jeans, are there any brands or certain styles that you've moved on from that you miss or wish would make a comeback?
Would anything make you reconsider trying those brands/styles again or have you pretty much moved on for good?
For me, I miss old-school Levi's, especially the 501s. I'm still pretty loyal to Levi's, but I wish their overall quality was better than it is now. I also used to wear Arizona jeans quite frequently, but haven't tried them in well over a decade. I'm not really sure what made me move on from them, so maybe I should give them a try one of these days.
I had a pair of Wranglers way back in the day when I was a kid. I didn't wear them that often and probably wouldn't try them today. No valid reason. I prefer Levi's and Silver jeans. I do miss the Silvers that they had in the early 2000's. They had a more classic look to them. I also really miss Levi's SilverTabs from the mid/late 90s.
They used to be such great quality. It's unfortunate what has happened to Levi's.
Yeah, it used to be so easy. Just go pick up another pair of 501s in my usual size. They were heavy denim, high quality, shrunk to the perfect fit. Now, I don't even own a pair of Levi's. I had a pair of 514s about 3 years ago and they started ripping apart in less than a year.

It's too bad they've gone down hill. I still like Levi's, but I've also been looking elsewhere for jeans.
I'm still a Levi's fan, even to this day. Their quality is not as good as before but their cut is still the best for me.
I can't see myself spending money on one of those designer jeans that costs > $100 a pair. I'm too cheap to spend that kind of money on jeans.
Although I'm disappointed they aren't what they used to be, I still like Levi's as well. Most of my jeans are Levi's. I like my 559s and 505s the best.
