Hi! I'm into yoga class for about a month now and planning on purchasing a stylish yoga wear online. I did my research and come up with a list of brands but these two stand out: Lululemon and BaliniSports. I'm undecided on which brand should I go for, while Lululemon is popular, is on the mainstream and this is what my friends recommend, BaliniSports was just starting out but seeing the stylish designs I'm starting to get torn between these two brands.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

You've got a point there Pitt. Thanks but I think I'm going for style not just for the price.

Okay, then... buy what you like, regardless of the price.

Lululemon is having some production problems right now and taking a hit with selling sheer yoga pants that weren't meant to be sheer (bad material and no quality control), and it appears the brand being so popular has cheaped out on production to produce tons of stuff to sell.... I'd go with Balini.

Ok, the sheer yoga pant thing.
I am pretty sure a saw one of our instructors bending over in a Japanese ham sandwich in a pair of these..
It was pretty obvious the material was sheer as one could see there was no underwear.
Lulu lemon has a pretty snobby following, store and clientele
From all the reviews online.
But I have to admit those clothes look very comfortable and well made. it's the price that's shocking though.

Thanks Tallysmom! I did some research too and discovered that BaliniSports is now under a manufacturer that houses brands like nike and adidas. With your review plus my little research I think I'm going for Balini, bought my first one a while ago. Thanks again!

Thanks Gilah! A high price with low quality it is.

Lulus are horrible. I bought 3 pairs of pants (2 yoga, 1 running crop) and was ready to fall in love but the quality if worse than Target!

My dark grey yoga pant started pilling like crazy after one or two wears (I'm pretty sure I was sitting in front of the TV all day).

My light grey pant is still like brand new and the running crop is more uncomfortable to run in than crops from target of tjmaxx.

Leave lulu alone! You can't even wash their crappy clothing with other clothing, it all has to be washed with other Lulu stuff.
