So I have received a lot of information on quality clothing around here (thanks guys!), unfortunately it's very limited to the US, maybe the UK or AU too, I don't know. I live in Europe however. So if any of you do live in Europe, perhaps you could mention some decent brands for "men" clothing? I mean things like dress shirts, raw denim jeans, blazers, suits, belts. I've tried looking up all the brands from the stores I've been to, none came up except Zara. Zara seems to have very mixed reviews though, and at least the two stores of this brand I've been to don't have shirts nor decent suits (polyester is the best I've found...).
Buying at an internet store is a huge risk too, and the only internet store would be Ebay (which is even more risky), Amazon's not available here.
So I have acknowledged a lot of information on quality clothing around here (thanks guys!), unluckily it's very limited to the US, maybe the UK or AU too, I don't know. I live in Europe however. So if any of you do live in Europe, perhaps you could mention some honest brands for "men" clothing? I mean things like dress shirts, raw denim jeans, blazers, suits, belts. You should try them ......
Hi this is my first post to cd, so here goes .
Well I'm in London U.K. so I honestly don't know where in Europe you are mate.
But you can check g star raw ( best jeans imho), diesel , gant , barbour , fat face, hackett, h+m etc
You could check online shops John lewis or House of fraser to get a feel for what you want then search where you care if it's available.
Hope this helps.
for business clothing, Suit Supply is a good choice for price/quality. Also the Kooples (out of France) is an alternative to mainstream labels like Theory or Boss. If you can afford it Mr. Porter (an online men's retailer based in London) offers a curated list of some of the best brands.. they're on par with Barney's or Saks. Lastly there's Zegna's boutiques here: The worldwide fashion shopping guide . Where you'll have more difficulty is locating specialty retailers that carry raw selvedge denim. You may want to check out either Nudie's or Naked & Famous websites to see if there any stockists in your city. Just be aware these shops are often skater/urbanwear/sneakerhead boutiques since the fetish for raw jeans has its origins in street apparel.
No boards for my country, not aware of any European English forums.
There's a "Europe" forum right here on City-Data under "World Forums". Seems like everyone on it communicates in English.
