I'm seriously ask this question because most people get them mixed up.

As I understand it,you can be beautiful without sex appeal, and ugly with sex appeal.

Some celebs that have sex appeal but are considered ugly or average: Paris Hilton,Angelica Houston, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Beautiful celebs with no sex appeal: Halle Berry,Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Middleton.

As I understand it,that's what I've heard about these women.

So,how does one gain sex appeal?
What do you need to do to have sex appeal?

I think I'd prefer beauty to sex appeal, I suspect sex appeal would make it harder than beauty to be taken seriously at work.

Beauty. Its more socially and professionally functional.

You are not looking to get some everywhere right? :P
So what is the point of appealing to people crotch reactions 24/7?

I think sex appeal is about how you look, how you move, and how you interact with the world. Its not as demure as beauty. I think its can make you get taken less seriously by men and women if you are always trying to be miss hotty when the situation has nothing to do with that. (work)

I read an interview with Reese Witherspoon once where she said that she doesn't try to cultivate sex appeal on purpose. She wants a long career, and in 20 years she doesn't want people saying, "what happened to her? She used to be so sexy."

True. Beauty has a larger window than the sex pot. Pam Anderson used to be so cute. I always wonder what she would of aged like if she didn't try to be a bombshell girl her whole life. I think of Iman whenever I think of a well aged beauty. She wasn't dumpy but she was never a sex pot either. Just impressively put together her whole life. Classic beauty has a power about it where as sex pot is just for fun and games.

I always thought you could be sexy even with a sack on?

Being sexy doesn't mean you are trying to have sex at every turn...or am I wrong?
