^Agree. I wear pants to work most of the time because it's the easiest--I work in an office and so have to look somewhat office-y--pants, nice top, business jacket. In the summer I will wear more dresses and skirts, but in the winter, I do not see any point in exposing my legs to the wind and snow and rain and slush traveling to work each day.

I sit at a computer all day and over the years have started to wear pants almost exclusively. When I wear a dress or skirt my legs get cold and I end up trying to cover them up with a sweater or something all day. Plus if I haven't shaved my legs I hate for them to touch.

Pants. I rotate through several pair of black pants with different blouses and jackets.

Dresses (for me) would require pantyhose and a slip, along with the right shoes (heels)... so much easier just to wear pants and comfy shoes.

I did used to wear dresses and skirts to work when I was younger. Now I only wear them to weddings (if that).

I have found endless joy in just-above-the-knee length jersey knit A-line skirts. So comfy, I don't worry about accidentally showing my underpants and they're pretty cozy when it's a bit chilly out.

Now that there's been a 'business casual' rule set up at work I can't wear jeans, sneakers and Star Trek shirts anymore. Bummer. Skirts it is!

My preference for dresses and skirts has nothing to do with psychology or relationships. It has to do with comfort, ease of getting dressed, and what's most flattering on me.

I was going to post this in a different place such as Psychology or Relationships, but then I thought it would probably be more appropriate here.

Anyway, I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions on this. Thanks.

I notice women who wear skirts/dresses tend to be a lot softer personality wise.

I usually wear pants/jeans when out. It just feels safer, cleaner and more functional living in a city.
Any dressy clothing for work I change out to jeans and t's for transit. Never know when you may have to run or fight. Pants tend to keep creepers away too unless you have a boob shirt on. I don't feel like dealing with creepers at all and if I have to its nice to have on the right outfit for it. I'm no charlie's angel. LOL

I wanted to chime in. I prefer pants to dresses and skirts. They are just easier. I hate bothering with pantyhose and or slips. I often think, I'm glad I wasn't around in the 40's or 50's when it was the norm for women to wear dresses or skirts more.

I hate dresses and skirts and always have. I only use them when I have to, which is so rare that I don't even own any. And when I did wear them, it's floor length ones.

Then, for contrast, my daughter only likes skirts and dresses all the time, no matter what. I really should check her to see if she's mine.

I'm pretty much the same way, you will never catch me in a dress in the winter months, unless its thanksgiving or Christmas and even then probably not. I did last year, I wore a sweater dress and uggs.

But if its hot ill wear shorts or a mini skirt, usually shorts.

I have one of those jersey knit fold over waistband skirts, I'm so short and small that I can wear it as a strapless dress. I need to make it smaller though because its too big to begin with as a skirt and it needs to be snugger to stay up.
