Do you think it's acceptable for men to wear sportswear outside of playing sports. I'm not referring to old sweats, but nice clothes? Also does it depend on the region?

I generally don't equate sportswear and nice clothes. Can you give some examples?

I agree. It's just some people make it seem like if you're past a certain age and not in a blazer and slacks then you're a slob or have a peter pan complex.

If you're out and about doing thing I don't see the big issue.

I don't see how some dude wearing athletic clothes equates to him being a slob or not knowing how to dress other places.

It seems like there are usually clothes that would work better for non-sports activities than sportswear.
