I am not at all into the tattoo and piercings fad. I think those that are, will look really ridiculous in their golden years.

That's the difference between an "accident" and "on purpose".

People with tattoos have no one to blame but themselves.

If you think it's hard now, imagine when you are 80 years old and have a 90's tribal tattoo on your saggy arm.

Don't kill the messenger.

Be aware of WHAT you are doing at all times.
You're 80 homie, not 25 or 55. I'm not sure 80 year olds are as concerned about their atheistic appearance.

I think riding a motorcycle at age 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 is probably a bit more risk. Especially if a car back ends you, or you go flying of your speeding bike and wrap yourself around a fire hydrant.

I've had earrings since I was about eight years old. I don't see much that's uncommon about that.

I got a small, discreet tattoo when I was 25, and another when I was 29. Most people don't know I have tattoos, as I do not scream "person who has tattoos," which is in fact one large reason I got them.

My SO has been in the Navy for a dozen years, and has no ink (the Navy has gotten increasingly strict, though, about visible ink)...he is thinking about getting the Chief insignia, though. I have to smile, because he, like me, doesn't seem "the type."

At least I don't keep getting banned and re-creating new accounts on internet message boards to somehow 'prove' what a 'badass' I am.

I have both scars AND tattoos.

I LOVE my tattoos. And when I'm 80, my tattoos are going to be the least of my worries... 80 year olds aren't exactly supermodels.

Nope. I have zero tattoos and zero piercings – including my ears. I've never gotten a tattoo because they look painful. I've never had my ears pierced because it also looks painful, plus I've never really been a fan of wearing earrings or really any kind of jewelry. I prefer the minimalist look because sometimes less is actually more .

I have my ears pierced, and its not too painful. Although I can't recall the last time I actually wore earrings.

As for tattoo's, nope, none. Not for the pain, but because I think they often look tacky. There is basically no image in this world that I would want permanently on my body

A friend of mine got a very small yin/yang on her ankle during her marriage. After divorce, she spent a lot of money and a lot more pain getting that lasered off.
