I have a little extra $ left over to spend and im thinking of either this chanel(knock off but so cute) or faux fur jacket. Which would you get? The bags only $50-jackets $130.

uggh do NOT get that "fur"! It looks like it came off a mangy stuffed dog. Yuck.

I don't like knock-offs either, says cheap and trashy to me, imo, and it's probably vinyl. But go for it if you like it, I'll admit it's a cute design.
But why not take that money and get either a nice leather bag that's not a knock-off, or a jacket that doesn't look like a muppet? For $130 you can get a nice quality trench, denim, or maybe even a leather jacket. In general, I stopped liking any kind of fakeness once I moved past 15. It just cheapens your look. Either get the real thing or something that's not pretending to be a luxury item when it's not. JMO.

If I had to choose between those two, I would go with the bag. However, my choice would be to forego both and invest the money in several shares of stocks or just put it in a savings account or a CD. Neither appeal to me and in the long run, you would do better to invest any extra money.

I agree - the bag looks plastic (so worth about $10) and the "fur" isn't even something that's in style anymore (that style last for about a week)

NO, to the fur. It will not look new for long.

Not enough information to give an answer. For instance -- do you carry credit card debt or student loan debt? Put your extra money on that. Do you have a savings account and are you socking away at least 10% of your income to invest? Or have 6-8 months of your living expenses as an emergency fund? That's where your extra money should go.

If you've done all this and this is really extra money -- and it's really between those two --
I'd go for the bag, but both of them are sort of cheesy looking.

That is not a knockoff. It is a forgery. Definitely neither.

No, don't do it, save it, invest it.

Yes, do it, it's good for the economy. Somewhere along the line I probably own a stock in a mutual fund that will rise because of your purchase.
