I’m retired, but I have a few volunteer jobs when there isn’t a pandemic going on. If I’m going out, I’ll wear crops, sandals, and a cute top. We live in the steamy south, so I live in comfortable shorts and tunic tops most of the time. In the winter, I switch to straight leg jeans in blue or colors.
Lots of spandex is involved in my clothing. I want to be comfortable while we’ll put together.
I go in waves. I'll have an item or 7 items I wear constantly over a month or two. Then I'll pick a different set of items that get super rotated. Then again. And eventually I'll make it back to that first set of items. Or they'll be mixed up. My latest obsession items are a hot pink t-shirt dress I got recently, some joggers from target that have a nice little pleat front for variation, and some olive joggers I got, an olive body suit, and a cropped t-shirt that has some eyes printed on it. A little while ago it was a wrap skirt I got in Ghana and a wax print dress I got at the farmers market. These are a little less in the rotation now, but they make an appearance even in the pandemic.
Yep. I am a minimalist and therefore have a small collection of clothing, so I do wear the same things all the time. I’ve found that most people do not notice, and if they do, they say nothing about it.
I can get a good three days out of a pair of shorts or pants as long as I don't go running or biking in the first two days. I'll even wear socks two days in a row in a pinch.
I like minimalizm, and one of the main ideas is a minimum of things. A few basic T-sirts, pants, shoes and yes, I'm wearing the same clothes for repeatly. My colleagues are so surprised by this, as if they don't know that clothes can be washed. I also like the fact i am not looking for the thing I need for a long time and it's just as easy for me to pack clethes for the trip.
