Agreed. What's a lot of time? I get mine professionally done every 3 weeks. It costs $10 and takes 10 minutes. Everyday, I spend maybe 30 seconds brushing them in place. My brush and gel cost $1 and lasts 6 months. Once a week, I pluck or trim any strays until I get them done again. This takes 5 minutes. The tweezers cost $5. The razor cost maybe $5. Both have lasted years.
I give exactly zero sh*ts about what anyone thinks of my routine. My husband doesn't care whether or not I do this, but knows that it makes me happy, it's not taking time away from the family, and it's not breaking the bank.
Eyebrows make the face apparently. I've never bothered with mine, never trimmed or plucked, because they were just fine the way they were. Now that I'm older they have thinned quite a bit and now I DO have to spend a little time filling them in. It makes a difference I think.
Be very very careful when messing with eye brows. My wife got overly fixated on plucking as a teenager----------now she is an older woman with NO eyebrows.......it looks horrible...leave them alone if you can - unless you have the unibrow going on...nothing sadder than an old lady with no eyebrows who has them penciled in like a clown.
I never notice anyone's eyebrows unless they are plucked into those weird thin arches, or extraordinarily hairy.
On the pain of death I couldn't tell you which of my (female, or male for that matter) friends does anything at all with their eyebrows. Not on my radar, I guess.
