Should a woman with dyed blonde hair be called a blonde? (color, roots)

Yes, her hair is blonde. I had know problems calling Beyonce a blond when she dyed her hair back in the early 2000's.

I am a brunette but it would be odd to me if someone stated they were a died blonde rather then just saying blonde to describe their hair color.
Really I don't see why people care how a person describes their hair color.

Interesting question. Because I usually just say "She has blond hair" rather than say she's a blonde. The picture in post #7.. I would never refer to her as a blonde, just "she has blond hair".

Same scenario can apply to red-heads, too.

No, she should be called by her name, or if you don't know her name, then a simple Miss or Ma'am will do too.

Should women call men 'a baldie' or 'a pornstache' or any such 'a some-physical-characteristic'? Way to continue to objectify women.

Everyone needs to get real. After a certain age, most women who take care of themselves enhance their hair with color.

Not only blondes.

Ideally should people stick close to their natural hair color? Perhaps. But it's their business, not mine or yours.

I think Beyonce looks good as a blonde. Madonna? Not so much.

I've been a bleached/bottle blonde for many years now & people consider me blonde....I don't see why not. That's the color of our hair, NOW...LOL!

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but a lot of women who color their hair blonde were born blonde, but their hair darkened as they got older. I am one of them: I had platinum blonde hair as kid, which darkened to a sandy blonde as a teenager, and then a dark blonde in my twenties. I tried to stay natural, but my hair lightens a lot in the summer, so by October I'd have 4 inches of dark roots; I chose to color it because I'm not into the "ombre" look. I go lighter because hair doesn't hold a color deposit very well, plus blonde works better with my fair skin and light eyes
