I went up to Virginia a week ago for Thanksgiving and I saw a guy wearing Uggs with Cargo Shorts, and it was in the 40's on Black Friday. That got instant sideye from me.
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I drove by a girl wearing black UGG boots. He exclaimed "how 2002!!" and I asked him what he meant. He told me that they are passe and that women never look good in them. I agreed but pointed out that women love UGGs more for their comfort factor than looking good.
Women who dress to please themselves are so much happier than those who try to keep up with every trend... and, smart women don't just dress to please MEN!
I never bought a pair of uggs...sorry, but just because I am told by the fashion industry something is hot or in I'm not going to buy it if it's unattractive and uggs definately fit that description.
Some of the fashions I see people wearing don't make them look good, but they are like it's in or it's this designer. It looks like crap so what's the point of wasting your money to look bad.
