Since it has started getting cold across most of the US (and snowed in the northern plains, upper Midwest, Pittsburgh, and upstate NY), have you started wearing gloves/mittens yet.

I already have, when I had to clear Ice off my car 10 days back. I will do it again tomorrow and day after tomorrow morning. From the 3rd week of November, gloves will be a permanent part of my winter clothing. Temperatures are expected to dip well below freezing tonight into the 20's (shiver).

No. Its still been in the high 50s/low 60s during the day, and in the 40s at night. The extended 15 day forecast shows much of the same (even in the high 60s a few days), so the gloves won't be coming out in the near future.

Weather data tells me something different. It says you had lows in the 20's during the 3rd week of October with wind . That's pretty freaking cold for raw hands.

Nevertheless, you may have a much higher tolerance for cold than a tropics guy like me .

I broke out the winter coat and gloves a month ago, when we had a blizzard with 30 inches of snow.

No. I have some glows for when I go boarding and then motorcycle gloves which I wear all the time. That's it. Never gets cold enough to wear gloves.

It snowed out there and that's still not cold enough for you. My little brother lives there and was crying about how lonely and miserably cold Pittsburgh is. My cousins live there as well, and they were also complaining about snowfall, cold, and winter blues. You might be the only person saying its not cold enough for gloves.

Pittsburgh, Rochester, Detroit, Green Bay, and Minneapolis are part of my no travel unless emergency zones in the winter.

Spoiler
And by the way, I enjoyed Patriots thrashing the Steelers black and blue
