Guys, would you wear a light color jacket? (girls, fashion, look)

No white blazers, unless it has dark stripes on it. Otherwise, you look like a surgeon.

I have tweed/boating blazers, red, light blues, lilac and purple, they have to be fitted and not like the ralph lauren grandpa sports coats

The dude in the Duchamp blog scores high on everything except the tie, but this is the kind of blazer that I like.

Sorry I wasn't being clear. I was shopping today and overheard a comment from a woman to her son "don't buy that white jacket, only girls wear light color like that." That's why I asked since I wasn't born in the US.

@Duchamp: yeah, I agree w you. My clothes must be fitted tp the T lol. Where do you find those tweed suits like that? They look classy.

Sure. Outerwear doesn't have to be any particular color. I see people wearing different shades and colors of jackets and coats all the time. I have a camel or tan or whatever colored mid length coat that I wear periodically. And black, and dark blue, and gray, and some others.

What on earth does LGBT have to do with your outerwear? Is there a secret society of LGBT-only fashions? Is it segregated into four distinct sub-fashions? What do Ts wear?

I do believe that the OP is talking about outerwear, a coat, when he said a puffer.
NOT a blazer.

BTW - surgeons don't wear white blazers either.....

Style would not stop me from buying/wearing a light colored jacket.. However I would be concerned about it gettin dirty.

After reading this I took a look at the people on the bus to work and of those wearing a jacket, 90% were in black, a few dark blue and one red. This applied equally to men and women. I personally have 3, black, royal blue and dark beige. The latter is heavier for colder weather but it definitely gets dirty faster which is a better reason for dark than what anyone else thinks.
