I have about 15-20 sneakers in rotation but I am not a sneaker head. About 10 more which are out of rotation and used for lawn & gardening junk sneaks.

I do a lot of sports esp running. I have about 6 pairs at work and about 10-15 at home. Most have different purpose like trail, racing, road practice, weather proof, gym only, etc. My podiatrist said...you Imelda Marcos of sneakers? lol

One pair of running shoes.

On occasion I have two with one just for outdoor running.

Never seen the need for more.

I'm not a guy.

I have one pair for the treadmill that is used for nothing else. They have to be clean with absolutely no wear on the bottom, so they are dead level.

When there is the slightest wear, I buy a new pair of treadmill sneakers and the treadmill sneakers get demoted to "go to town" sneakers. The go to town sneakers get demoted to gardening sneakers, and the gardening sneakers get demoted to livestock maintenance sneakers. The livestock sneakers get demoted to the garbage can.

So: four pair of sneaks. Unless I find an excellent deal on perfect sneakers and then I might buy 4-5 pair and store them until I need new treadmill sneakers.

I'm almost 55 and own around 70 pairs of sneakers. My shoe size hasn't changed much since I was in high school, so many of them have been in my closet for 10+ years. I've given away at least that many to Goodwill over the years, but have rarely ever worn out any to the point of needing to throw them away. I've very rarely bought any at full price, from a shoe retailer. Most of them have been purchased at Nike outlet stores or other discount retailers.

1 Pair.

I'm 30-something and I run 4-5 miles a day, 5 days a week. Thinking about buying a new pair, because they're getting pretty flat/thrashed.
