Female names I would not choose: Agnes, Ashley, Bertha, Brenda, Brittney, Carol (but I like Carolyn), Candy (but I like Candace), Chelsea, Deidre, Dorothy, Evelyn, Eleanor, Fern, Gertrude, Harriet, Ingrid, Joan, Lenore, Leslie, Margaret, Nancy, Oprah, Patty (but I don't mind Patricia), Ruth, Stacey, Tiffany, Ursula, Vivian, Wilma, Yolanda, Zoe. There are tons more that I wouldn't choose for a new baby, but I wanted to at least pick one from each letter of the alphabet.
Male names I would not choose: Albert, Beauregard, Chester, Dick, Ed (but I like Eduardo), Fritz, Gerhard(t), Hank, Igor, Josh (but Joshua is ok), Kyle, Lionel, Mitch (but I like Mitchell), Norman, Newton (Newt---uugh!), Orville, Pat, Rich, Stanley, Tom (but Thomas or Tomas are ok), Ulysses, Virgil, Wiley, Winston,...and boys named Sue...how do you do?
For men, I dislike: Kevin, Levi, Jayden, Brandon, Jason, Logan, Colton, Jordan,
For women, I dislike: Margaret, Dakota, Linda, Sandra, Hayden, Diane, Cody, Denver, Peggy
For men, I like: Joshua, Ethan, Theodore, Elliot, Daniel, Michael (but not Mick), Dario (not Darius)
For women, I like: Freya, Lily, Naomi, Anna, Emma, Lucy, Lindsay, Hermione

I'll add more....
Dolly (apparently Parton's popularity couldn't make that bad name popular)
Taylor (too androgynous)
Josephine and other female versions of male names (except for Danielle, which I think sounds nice)
Prudence and Ada (I hope nobody is choosing those names anymore)
