I'm very picky about socks. Underarmor socks for Army stuff and Gold toe ankle socks for everything else outside of work.

PIKANTARI - I love your post about socks. May I suggest you check out Thesocklady.com. A shop in my community sells these and I bought a pair for myself and my grand daughter. Then I ended up buying several more in different color combinations.. I believe she has a cottage industry in Vermont and can be bought on line. Lately I have seen them in specialty catelogs too. They are so fun and comfy and even have names lol. The are mismatched but colors in each pair co-ordinate. I wear mine mostly around the house without shoes or to bed in the winter. I think you will find them fun and want to add a pair or 2 to your collection.

Oh yes I just rememberd I saw Whoopie Goldberg wearing the same pair I own one day on The view. Whoopie has or had a farm in Vermont.

I hate socks. The only time I wear them is when I wear shoes.

Just tell more people to wear them!

I get tired of seeing other people's crusty feet!

Well I have a thing for socks. This thread was to see what other people have a lot of and love. Not necessarily socks. I know a lot of people love shoes or purses...

I HATE SOCKS.

But have no choice and should wear them 7 months a year or risk getting a frostbite .

I like sandals. Free feet feel nice.

I like nicer socks too. I am pretty picky about the way they feel - don't like too tight or too loose of elastic. But they aren't my "thing".

My "things" are pj's and cardigans.

You know, one evening my SO and I were out to eat at PF Changs and there were a group of girls sitting at the table next to us. The girl sitting right next to me was sitting with her leg tucked underneath her and had her shoe on the floor with her nasty foot facing my way.

Not a pleasurable dinner to say the least.
