This is a spin off from the unattractive names thread...so we all know what names you dislike...what names you do you find attractive?

One of my classmates back in high school was named "Merrari" and I thought "Wow, that's a cool name. I'm totally naming my daughter that."

Shay, Daniela, Alyssa, Adam, Samson, and Michael are pretty rad as well.

Sometimes the surname attached can ruin any name such as Smith or Johnson.

I like names that seem universally accepted, are suitable even through adulthood, yet have nicknames they can grow up with:

Michael (Mike, Mick[ey]), Anthony (Tony), Raymond (Ray), Geoffrey/Jeffrey (Geoff/Jeff), Johnathan/Jonathan (Johnny/Jonny/John/Jon), etc.

Jacqueline (Jackie), Cassandra (Cassie), Catherine/Katherine (Cat/Kat/Cate/Kate/Catie/Katie/Cathy/Kathy) Cathleen/Kathleen (" "), Nichole/Nicole (Nikki), etc.

I also like other ethnic names (Nikolai, Katia, Manuel, Desiree, Jose, Elena, Miguel, Anna/Ana, etc.), but most are typically limited to certain backgrounds.

I dig into looks, not names.

I dig into looks, not names .

I wonder why many cute looking girls have very long names in my university . Many are east European names which are unpronounceable.
