So, I've seen news about plastic surgery in Korea all over. When I look at the before and after photos, I really don't believe it because most of the plastic surgery I've seen done on the U.S. celebrities look awful (those who can afford the best). Are the plastic surgeons in Korea really that good or are these photos and others photoshopped? These people look completely different and even their face shapes and jaw lines have completely changed. If this is true, I would like to go there myself! But honestly, as much as I may be unhappy with some of my features, I don't know how I would feel like when I look at the person in the mirror and that person doesn't even look like me anymore.
The catch is that most Korean surgeons only do ONE look. Because Koreans seem to have this requirement of beauty for v-line jaws, un-hooded eyes, and round foreheads. The surgeons do these looks ALL THE TIME so they perfected it. They're not necessarily the best surgeons, they just do the same look over and over because that's all the Koreans want.
Now if you came to Korea looking for something specific (other than their standard of beauty) I imagine there would be some complications.
They all look like their eyes are wider, but other than that, they're smiling in the after pictures which makes most faces look nicer, the pictures are taken from different angles, and they've got some kind of glowy makeup on in the after pictures.
