I love the second dress! Festive with the sparkle but not ugly Christmas sweater. It's quite sexy in a restrained way and looks far more comfortable than the first one. You can't go wrong with black even at the holidays.

Right, because everyone, always knows what to wear for every occasion.

A million shows and websites, say otherwise, but they must be flukes.

Nothing wrong with that one at all. It's simple and modest enough for any event, without being matronly. It's probably even more covered up than you need to be, but best to err on the side of modesty for anything work-related.

I'm thinking your husbands probably not too thrilled to see his sexy wife going out by herself dressed in that.

The difference between the OP and me is I wouldn't be asking a bunch of stick-in-the-muds on a message forum what I should be wearing!

It's all just opinions, yours or anyone else's doesn't really mean all that much at the end of the day! And what are these "million shows and websites that say otherwise?" They only exist in your head I think.

I got nothing else to say, it's not my dress, but hopefully the OP wasn't too discouraged by the mostly ridiculous responses here. I'm sure she'll think twice before asking here the next time.

The second dress is classy and elegant ... perfect for an office party.

Really? What not to wear, fashion police, basically everything on the E network, people of Walmart, do I need to list more? I can if you like.

If she did, she wouldn't be asking us, would she?
