At a hospital nobody will notice.

Don't shave regularly during the winter months. The hair is another thin layer of warmth.

Gross. Full wax, all the time! Geez, and I live in Montana. Who would not shave? Or wax? The thought is gross.

Not to burst your bubble, but yes--they WILL notice in the hospital. But as professionals, of course, no one is going to say "ewwww! Look at your hairy legs!"

I've definitely heard comments out in the hall about the, um, "European" lady in room 203

But noticing or commenting doesn't mean anybody cares whether you shave or not. BTW--having dirty feet or funky "stuff" is what's disgusting for healthcare personnel.

(I shave because I wear shorts year-round)

I. love. TIGHTS!

One of the best things of winter.

It takes me at least 15 minutes to shave my legs. Call me genetically unfortunate.... If I shaved as often as needed to be "hospital ready" (daily shaving...) that would be almost 8 hours a month shaving my legs.... 12 vacation days a year!!!

Those of you who are genetically blessed and don't have to worry about this - you are lucky. Those of you who can afford the waxing and don't have bad reactions to waxing - you are lucky. I hope this current trend obsessed with body hairlessness continues to evolve.

But of course, I always shave if someone will see.

I shave -- but my body hair is very white and very sparse. Husband doesn't care at all -- but I like the feeling of freshly shaved legs.

I do, mainly because stubble irritates me when I'm bare-legged in bed.

Guess I never gave it much thought, but yeah, only have to shave under the arms once every other month. It's the more difficult places that the hair seems to want to grow too fast; back of the neck, sides around my head baby hair line and where the sun don't shine. I have to shave my hair lines twice a month.

Nope. I don't shave my legs ever. Luckily I don't grow much body hair anyway. As for pits do them every few months, only because at some point there is too much hair and deodorant is less effective when it can't contact the skin. I really don't care what other people think about it and I am not vain. And my friends ,quite honesty, are not so shallow as to care either.

I shave legs about once a week during the winter, give or take. Pits maybe once or twice a week. Like everyone has said, if you're going to be bundled up most of the time, why fight nature so hard?
