Best would be NYC and Los Angeles. Both places dress in current fashions, which is fun to see.
Probably true. But you can find that style of dress at WalMarts all over the country. I'm thinking cheap, tacky sweats and clashing oversized t-shirts. Like they just grabbed whatever was in a pile on the floor and threw it on.

Least favorite is probably SF/Portland/Seattle...the clothing styles are too gloomy, boxy and hipsterish.
Don't lump SF together with the Northwest. Only some of the young people look hipsterish. There's a variety of fashion in the Bay Area, and it's far from gloomy. California's a far cry from Seattle, thankfully.

My latest WalMart bargain was an ankle long (I am 5:11) turquoise/navy halter top dress for $5. So far nothing but compliments. BTW - never owned sweats or tshirts.

Favorite: Los Angeles and all of its surrounding areas - Westwood, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Studio City, etc. This is a place that is world renown for fashion. Designer dresses, suits, red carpets, etc.

Least favorite: Has to be somewhere where hillbillies and rednecks reside. The Ozarks, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, etc. Camo, sweats, and size 28-38 womens clothing is what these places are known for.
