These are WAYFARERS, the hippest, coolest glasses frames ever made. The trend to buy them OVERLY big is a passing phase, but WAYFARERS are forever - and look great as sunglasses, too, with tinted lenses for indoor wear . . . in colors . . . they are classics.

Johnny Depp collects the actual older model frames (from the 60s-80s).

People who go for something even bigger are just engaging in a short-lived fashion statement, unless they are wearing SUNGLASSES. The big Jackie O "Ray-Ban" sunglasses will forever be in style.

I've had one or two pairs of big sunglasses but not for fashion purposes.

Never cared for the huge eyeglass frames; however, the reason the various styles cycle in and out of fashion is because the manufacturers need us to go out and buy the 'latest/greatest' fad (same as with clothing).

If they can get the celebs to start wearing something different, usually the masses will follow suit.

I love big glasses. Maybe because I've seen them in a lot of people so they started growing on me...but I love them since they came in 2009 or something.

But I'm sure I will always love Ray Ban Jackie Ohh II. Best glasses of all time
