aka as Mom jeans are making a comeback, I also read Ditto's are making a comeback, some of you might remember that brand.

I have been wearing butt crack jeans for awhile now and really don't like them, however some of the high waisted jeans do make one look old fashioned. I miss the original 501 that were 100 percent cotton, they always fir me perfectly. Now days the only ones I can find for women have the pajama jean look and there are the mens cut which don't fit well anymore.

It seems like high waisted jeans come back in fashion every couple of years. The style never sticks around, most people like jeans that sit on their hips.

They're actually perfect for me.

Some high waisted jeans look great. Some suck. It is all about pocket placement. If you get them at the right place they make your butt look awesome. The wrong place and you are ready for a makeover show.

High waisted fits horribly on me. It can comeback all it wants, but I won't be buying!

OP---
I am sure you know there ARE option between high waist and butt crack, right?

Saw an ad in my daily paper about jeans that fit so snuggly they look like leotards. They claim to cause the wearer to appear to be one size smaller. The cost is around $100. They aren't high-waisted. Of course, the models are very slim, without a need to lose one size.
