Is it a duct tape wallet?

Anyway, yes I carry a wallet in my purse. It's one of those long wallets that's long enough to not have to fold my bills, not the kind that guys can carry in their back pocket.

I've been buying and using men's wallets for years...they seem to be constructed better than women's and last much longer. I hate the fussy ones with lots of pockets and change purses and slots for credit cards. I want a simple brown leather with two pockets, one for cash, one for receipts, and one slot for ID and another for the only credit card I carry.

I have one. I think it is sweet that it was handmade. I would use it if it was made well.

I have a few wallets...for some reason it's a popular gift for me. Most are video game related, though one is glittery pink with brass knuckles as the handle

I generally go for hard sided clasp style wallets, but I also have a 'dude style' batman wallet that I use here and there.

I think a handmade wallet is a sweet idea!

Just for something to say, I've never once seen a woman with a wallet in her pocket.

Which is fine. It would block the view.

Of course women use wallets. Can't just throw all your stuff into a brown paper lunch sack!

Seriously, one of my biggest fashion gripes is the difficulty in finding women's pants/slacks with side-seam pockets that are deep enough to put anything in and not have it fall out when seated.

I have a wallet that needs to be replaced and would welcome a gift of a handmade wallet. And I would be appropriately appreciative, even if I only used it until I could find one that suited me. So go ahead and make that wallet. And if SHE doesn't like it, (and is crass enough to say so), send it to YT and I'll hug you for being thoughtful.

When I go to a concert or festival, I just pull my wallet out of my purse and carry it. I believe it is seen as masculine to do this on a regular basis. I do find it less stressful to carry it in my pocket since I live in the city and might consider doing it more often.

Same here. I'm extremely picky about wallets and purses and I think that nobody would be able to buy me a wallet I like and the quality I want. Unless they know I love "Brahmin". Their wallets are perfect to me but nobody is going to spend 148$ on one as a gift for me.

Just give her a card to the place that has wallets and let her chose.
