Ankle pants? Does anyone have these and like them? I feel like my pants are too short, and think they are not attractive.

Any other opinions?

It depends on your build. For instance, I have long legs and I'm tall, but I am more of a muscular build rather than long skinny legs and arms and though I don't have a perfect figure, I do have slim ankles. Ankle pants look good on me. I think that people with short legs or thick ankles should probaby avoid ankle pants. But that's OK - I have to avoid short jackets! It all evens out.

My mom was just telling me that they are showing a lot of these ankle pants now. I am not into fashion so am clueless. My mom said she does not care for them because it reminds her of pants just being short. I think it depends on ones body type and the shoes you would wear with it.

I don't like them since there was a time it was a fashion no no. I do think that pedal pushers (like the one's worn during
the 60's - not flared) are cute. But, that's just me and many young and older women do like them and look good as well.
p.s. no thumbs up to wearing the ankle or pedal pushers with those HIGH heels.

It's all about proportion. I think the ankle pants need to be worn with a heel, with the exception of the leggings, but you better have a near-perfect butt & legs to wear leggings & flats. Or the ankle pants need to be quite wide & flowy, which is not the look this season.

If you just wear ankle pants & heels with other pieces that were designed to be proportionate with a full-length trouser, it's going to look like your pants are too short.

I like some of them, in the summer, and with flats. It's a good, comfortable and casual look. Good for walking too.

I have been looking for some. My take is they can work under certain parameters. First the pant needs to be slim cut, particularly at the ankles. And you have to be showing the right amount of ankle. And have the right shoes. Slim ankles and long legs help a lot.

I am short with long legs. I end up with ankle length jeans quite often. It seems like skinny jeans (my current fave) are cute really short, really long or way too baggy in the calf/lower leg for me. All the ones that fit the best are ankle so I go with it. Lately I have liked ankle boots and ankle pants.

I am on my phone, please forgive the typos.

I have long legs and slim ankles and I'm not a fan of them. Being tall, I have always struggled with finding pants that are long enough for me. Ankle pants just feel like pants that are "too short".

I LOVE ankle pants...because that means I can buy regular pants in the store and still be considered fashionable I'm tall with a 36" inseam so finding long pants can be difficult. Now, I just buy regular length skinny jeans that hit me right above the ankle and pair them with ballet flats.
