I did not say that. I said, when sporting non-conventional blazers which are brighter or patterned, they should not be matched in both pieces. White jacket and white pants, it looks painful.

I think the look probably suits older men, rather than the young Gen-Y set, it's hard to pull off that look without looking a bit affected. George F. Will looks good with it. Tucker Carlson can't pull it off as well. Former Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang looks good with it (it's his signature).

Of course for formalwear it is suitable for all men.
