For the company Christmas party, I want to wear black pants (slim fit ankle), and a very drapy black top with long sleeves. Probably doing pearls as an accessory. Which shoes would be better, shiny silver pumps or leopard print pumps (all pointy toe)? Or something else?

of those two choices, I would pick the silver first and leopard second.

I agree. The leopard shoes will go well but depending on shape might read more casual than the silver.

On an autocorrecting iDevice.

Silver is better for dressy event. Leopard might look odd with all black.

Silver shoes, IMO.

Mixing animal print and black fits better in more informal situations... I find it too "trendy" so maybe it is not the best for a work event (even if it is a christmas event).

Good point about the "trendy" look for work. It's not my work, it's my husband's, and the fashion on hand is generally hideous and tacky (I've seen everything from prom dresses to christmas sweaters), but still. No need to make a bad impression if I can do better.

I think the leopard sounds sexier to go with the sexy outfit you described. Then again, I don't like silver (or gold) shoes.
