Why all of the bitterness?

You are (incorrectly) making the assumption that a beautiful and stylish woman can not also be very smart and kindhearted with a great personality. I know MANY women who fit the bill and then some.

So true. I recall a most beautiful woman I was about to walk by, she was coming out of a boutique and she looked over at me and gave one of the most friendliest brightest smiles which just made her beauty seem that much more so. Normally, I look at these women and think what an exquisite creature. I tend to appreciate beauty in it's many forms, no different when it comes to that being human form, music or something on canvas. But I won't stare at the human for in an inappropriate way as to make them uncomfortable. Well, unless that human form happens to be Idris Elba or Brad Pitt, then all bets are off, I might even block their path to get a better look.

To whomever left the Rep questioning my taste. Yes Brad Pitt, over, under any which way possible though I know only in my dreams.

This really pretty woman was singing along to a Christmas song in the background at the grocery store a couple weeks ago. She looked really at peace and I was just taking in the features of her face, they were perfect. She looked at me, and I just smiled at her and she smiled back, but I felt a little embarrassed but glad I smiled so it didn't seem rude or weird.

I don't know why I stare at other women, probably compare them to myself or something.

Many don't A know that they are beautiful without the materialistic stuff.
Or B have low self-esteem.

I'll be very frank here - sorry women. There are many beautiful women in AMerica.
But American women - the vast majority of them have no sense of style. It's not their fault. This is how you grew up; it's a cultural thing. Look at the French. They dress very nicely and they are not so beautiful, but interesting.
I strongly believe there are no ugly women, but it's just that the vast American women don;t know how to work with what they've got. French women do. They learn this in childhood observing others. I am not French, so that you know.
So, to me the once-over looks women cast on another woman that is beautiful and poised is sheer "how does she do it and I dont?"

I'm more impressed when I see that a woman has been named CEO of General Motors.

When I see other beautiful women, I think to myself, they have a real gift, espaicely if they are gracious and good natured radiating good health and contentment. It has nothing to do with style usually, just a general self awareness.
On the other hand, I also notice women who are dressed stylishly but have a dark, angry cloud around them, whether or not they are beautiful is completely shrouded by their negativity
