Good suggestions. For a cleaner look & longer line, always best to match the color of the PH/tights/socks/footgear to the color of the shoes. Patterns are dependent upon age, body shape, height, event, comfort level.

Is that your Christmas party dress? Sounds fun.

Deep Brown Tights will look very nice. Try to use a wool coat with similar colors and look for those which retain warmth if you live in a cold place.

I am on the patterned tights bandwagon! I'd get black or if you have lighter skin something in cream or beige or something.

If it's an orangey dress, navy or another shade of blue can look good (complementary colors and all.)
