Christmas is around the corner, but i still do not buy a gift for my girlfriend. It seems a classical question, what to buy as a Christmas gift? I totally disagree with earrings. It's completely unromantic, and predictable. Plus, I'd be surprised if she actually wanted any. Go for a necklace instead. What is her style like? What kind of jewelry does she wear now? Gold or silver? Post a pic of some of her necklaces that she wears now and we can suggest things. And for gods sake don't give it to her in a ring-sized box. Also, what's the budget?

Go to a nice jewelry store with her and have her pick out something she likes within your budget. Or, give her a gift certificate to a good jewelry store. Most girls like nice watches too, maybe that would be a good choice, something to suit her taste.
Jewelry is not something I would want anyone to buy online for me. Merry Christmas !
but thats just me.. there is always stores like Stage and KMart that has fine jewelry(like 14kt gold) for 40-60% off too
