I don't think I've ever known my fiance to wear anything to bed but underwear. He's always shirtless. If it's cold, there are just more blankets on the bed and/or fleece sheets. I generally wear underwear and a tank.
My husband has never worn anything to bed. Before we had kids, he used to be nude all the time at home, and he says once the kids grow up and move out, he'll be back to doing the same.
He's got a big, puckered scar down the center of his stomach from operations when he was an infant, so his stomach has never been flat, but I don't think he's ever been self-conscious about his stomach when he was getting ready to sleep.
If I do it's for warmth/comfort as I've grown to dislike the weight of a heavy blanket more than the potential twisting of a t-shirt/sleep shirt
I used to sleep in clothes, then at some point in college went to sleeping with nothing on
I kept that up until I had kids - now I sleep in my underwear and have shorts and a shirt next to my bed .... I'm sure at some point I'll go back to naked sleeping
This is what Always happens to me from May-September at night :
I start off wearing a T shirt and shorts. Halfway through my sleep, I unknowingly take my shirt off because of sweat and and find myself laying down without a Shirt on the next day morning. Thankfully, I am alone in my bedroom and nobody sees me without my shirt on (. If my parents saw me that way I would have been reprimanded heavily even though I am only doing so for comfort and not other reasons).
So guys, I would like to know. How often do you sleep shirtless. Is it a year round thing, seasonal, or very occasional occurrence. It happens to me usually in the summer.
Never, even if it's hot in summer. My shoulders & arms get cold, so I don't like the feeling of sleeping shirtless. I also don't like sweating on the sheets. Eew.
