I would agree that "chubby" is a word that implies a lack of masculinity. the problem is that when a guy gets a little fat, he develops these little boobies. its hard to take a man seriously once he has a pair of knockers. you may as well go full fatty once you reach that point. at least you will have muscular calves and an obvious reason for your depression.

I am masculine according to Indian culture. People from different countries of origin have varying views on what is considered "masculine".

Additionally, there is more than physique to masculinity (and same goes for being feminine).
