Typically, while going on long haul road trips (over 200 miles) I tend to wear shoes that don't squeeze my feet and make them sweat like crazy. Additionally, I take off my heavy coat to have better steering control by reducing weight on my arms and compensate by turning up the heat.
So, how do you dress up to feel comfortable while driving long distances.
Additionally, I make sure that the air is hitting towards the passengers and not at my foot. I won't take my shoes off though since it feels odd to drive barefoot.
For women, I do not recommend high heels while going on long drives as its a pain on the foot.
Summer- shorts, tshirt, sneakers. Winter- jeans or cargo pants, a long sleeve shirt, sneakers. Jacket is usually thrown in the back seat. On long trips I want to be comfortable, not make a fashion statement.
