Nope....I'm wearing them and I'm also wearing leggings (the thicker kind) as pants!

I wear yoga pants, but not out of the house and I am probably the only one here that can ACTUALLY wear them vs the rest here posting. Just saying.

What's that supposed to mean .

Anyone who is working out can wear them. I just dont classify them as casual wear. I wear track pants while running in spring/summer/fall. Otherwise, I usually wear jeans or below the knee khaki shorts with a belt.

Silly man....

It means she's under the delusion that she's the only one who has a figure nice enough to wear them and actually have them look nice.

catty much? All of my friends in their 20s wear yoga pants! The younglings (18-22) seem to prefer the leggings as pants look. Yoga pants are more comfortable but I'll wear leggings any day.

Showing off yoga pants while walking through 8" of snow in frigid temperatures just doesn't make sense. There are much nicer outfits to wear under such conditions (Belted Trenches, kulla (type of woolen hat), skinny jeans with thermals underneath , and dark brown boots look marvelous and eye catching in winter).

I'm stuck in Blizzard country as well (Mass). I rather wear yoga pants tucked into tall boots than skinny jeans with thermals underneath. That just sounds really uncomfortable. I'm not even "showing off"...how can we argue that yoga pants aren't the most comfortable women's garment around?

I cut mine off into shorts for summer, and I wear leggings or pj pants around the house, now. The bootcut legs seemed hopelessly out of date.

I might wear some of these for a quick trip to the store, but not usually.

From my point of view, Thermals + Jeans are the best way to fight the frigid lows. I did it when it was -2.7 F the other day to shovel ice off the driveway and my legs felt toasty and not the slightest bit cold . Everyone in my area (men & women) wear jeans / Dress pants with thermals when its freaky cold.

Yoga pants are thin and flimsy (at least for guys). How do they stand up against frostbites when you are walking for a long time. How much time do you spend out in the cold. I walk 1.2 miles from parking lot to workplace and back through the woods. I thank my Jeans + thermals for saving my legs from a frostbite.
