Is it more commonly used to mean seasons of the year, such as summer sandals or winter jackets, where it is meant to be worn part of the year it's designed for, weather-wise?
Or does it mean seasonal in the sense of fashion or style, where it will only be popular or last one season?
I'm asking because sometimes I get the impression that people imply if something is "seasonal", sometimes they mean the item's life is probably meant for only one season (so by next year, it'll get replaced).
But if people mean seasonal clothing like a solid, decent winter jacket, it's probably going to serve me for many seasons.
