I would be turned off by a guy who was more high maintenance than me, and I am pretty low maintenance. Clean, in shape, hair and beard (if any) neatly trimmed, clothes clean and neat. That's all a man needs to do IMO.

If a "man" colors his hair, bleaches his hair, highlights his hair, etcetera he isn't considered "manly" because those are feminine things to do.

You can't compare ordinary men to men that are on television etcetera.
It's a totally different situation.

I don’t like dyed hair or anything fake on a man..... except maybe a fake tooth because his real one was knocked out when he fought off a bear or alligator, or punched out a school bully or heathen at a bar while defending someone’s honor, or he knocked out a tooth in the end zone while sliding without dropping the game winning touchdown, or he took a puck to the mouth while deflecting a shot on goal...

So a fake tooth on a man is still manly in my book.... partial highlights not so much...
