I have an old, unevenly faded indigo-dyed sweater that I've worn in about 15 countries spread across three continents. It's getting a little threadbare and has been mended more than once. My husband hates it with a passion but it has so many happy memories attached to it that I cant get rid of it.
I just can't let go of my gray muscle tee mentioned earlier. It has been my favorite and most comfortable thing to wear since 10th grade. It might look ugly for others, but for some reason wearing it cheers me up. In fact, I am wearing the same shirt right now to bed .
A 32-year old Tshirt from my fraternity at Penn State, whih I wear in the warhehouse where I work on occasional Fridays. I had scholoarship restrictions which made pledging difffcult, but we found a way around it. I'm about 30 years beyond the average age in my plant, so the comments from "the kids" can be fun, and it gives me a story to tell.
I have an old Navy p-coat that came from one of my uncles, (1960's time frame, I think its older than me, I'm 48), I wore it in high school. Of my own, I have the old all weather coat and scarf from my time in the Marines.
I prefer to wear dresses, but, I have 2 pairs of black palazzo style pants that I wear during the colder weather, one of the pair, less dressy fabric I sport as often as I possible should be allowed. LOL They are the most comfortable thing in my closet to just throw on with most every style of top I have. I have similar style slacks in beige and brown, but rarely wear those, I have been trying to find a pair in white for sprig/summer though.
this is the slimmer cut that I wear less often it's in a dressier fabric, more of a shean to it
Not sure if I have an overall favorite, but I did have favorites from the past two years. From Spring 2017 I really loved a pink oxford button-down shirt with green pelican print, while from Spring 2018 my favorite was a pink interlock polo shirt.
